Is it true that god hates Catholic people?
Can someone explain what Catholics have done for god and what they have done against him..?

The word Catholic means universal.
Catholics believe & teach what has been taught by the Apostles.
Orthodox means what has been believed from the start.
Together, these churches make up most of Christians.
Differences are only in the practice of worship.
Since GOD is Love, he cannot hate anybody.
We're all GOD's children!

God loves all people unconditionally. This means there are no conditions needed to be met to merit His love.
God loves the worst sinner just as much as He loves the best saint.
Being Love, God can do nothing else.
This does not mean that He approves of all of our actions.
Some people call this "love the sinner, hate the sin."
Anyone who states, "God hates these people or those people" does not understand basic Christianity.
Here are a couple of quotes about God as Love from C. S. Lewis that I really like:
"He [God] has paid us the intolerable compliment of loving us, in the deepest, most tragic, most inexorable sense. .... God doesn't hate Catholics. God doesn't hate anybody. He just hates what we do.
To answer your question, I need to differentiate between Catholics, their faith, and their church.
Catholics are just people, and some of them have served their Lord well. Others have failed Him miserably. Some pretended to serve God for their own selfish needs. Others gave their health and their wealth and their very lives for His sake.
Whether you like it or not, the Roman Catholic faith has nurtured and sustained countless generations of people through appalling hardships over the centuries.
The Roman Catholic Church has done great harm, by its own admission, over the centuries. Just like any other human organization. They have also done a lot of good.

Such a statement is an offense against God, not against Catholics. God is love. He invites all people to come to Christ because in Him He can have a relationship with them. Whether they be Catholic or Protestant or anything else, if they have not accepted Christ in their hearts, they are depriving themselves of that relationship. No hatred involved.
