It's very easy to not believe in God. Why should I believe in God? God is someone ELSE's story. He's someone ELSE's belief. It has nothing to do with me. I am not obligated to believe in what seems to me to be a completely implausible story, just because someone else believes it. Especially if the person telling it to me can't even provide any evidence of it's truth.

well if you mean PEOPLE, and not some type of hybrid fruit, then it's because they look around them and see war and hunger and anguish and disease and chaos and hatred, and they think to themselves "Where is god in all of this? He left the people he "loved" so much that he sacrificed his own son to inherit this?"

There are innocent children dying daily at the hands of their parents and relatives, adults dying horrible deaths at the hands of each other, and sometimes even at the hands of children. There is disease run amok and terrorist leaders who run around intent on spreading their way of life to places that have no interest in it.

There are children being subjected to sexual things by people "of the cloth", leaders who claim to believe and still cause terror in other countries because of personal vendettas against their leaders, and are leaving other countries to be consumed with genocide.

Please tell me where you see god in all of that and I will consider the thought that there is a god.

Good question Krystelida. We don't believe for the same reason we no longer believe in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. It is no longer logical or reasonable for us to do so. There is simply no evidence, that we can see, that any god exists. I hope this helps.

I believe in God, but not the Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or Jewish God.

I don't know what a "peaple" is, but I don't believe in God because there's absolutely no reason to.
