maybe if science quit trying to adamantly disprove it and worked up hypothesis to try an prove it we could get somewhere ...

There is no way to "scientifically" prove any religion at all, because science and religion deal with different things. The Bible is not a scientific textbook, as any thinking person can tell you. Example: the book of Leviticus lists a bat in a group of "unclean" birds. But a bat is not a bird. Does that make the Bible 100% inaccurate? No, but it definitely proves it is not 100% accurate, at least as far as science is concerned. I could cite other scientific inaccuracies in the Bible, such as the assumption of a flat earth (seen in Genesis 1) and the assumption that the Earth is the center of the universe (see Joshua 10:12-13). I could list the absolute impossibilities in the Bible, such as a 6000-year-old Earth (which was calculated by Bishop Lightfoot in the 17th century, using the assumption of the six 24-hour days of creation) and the virgin birth of Christ (a story based on Matthew's mistranslation of Isaiah 7:14).
In other words, science and faith deal with different matters. Faith does not talk about science, and science cannot prove faith, since faith is "believing in which cannot be seen," according to the Book of Hebrews.
Perhaps Christianity has some more scientific credibility in its claims and theology than, for example, paganism, but science has not proven it to be the "one true" religion.

Proved to my satisfaction. All you have to do is test the propositions. If they work fine, then there you go. Just like in science you have to start without bias. It's all comming out, it's just a matter of time. Things are changing fast in all disciplines and the world is turning upside down, it's just that the public lags behing what's going on and I don't mean LOA, although some behind it is realistic. I guess there's two problems with religion. One the leaders are just as barbaric as the general population, what would you expect. At least science is less cruel then the inquisition. The second problem people have is miracles. Actually they have laws too. we just don't know all of them yet, but then we don't know what's behind gravity either. Even magnetic force doesn't wear down as required in current science and new forces are always being discovered. We don't know everything by a long shot. The subconscious gives us a sense of, knowing but it's not related to the conscious mind and an illusion. The detail of the proof are too lengthy, but a theory of everything can't be expected to be crude and is being found as we refine ourselves and get into that mind shift they've been predicting for so long. The best thing for a believer to do is find out what they are doing in psychology and get their act together so they won't be weak. You can get a little of the sense of it as

No. I thought you were supposed to believe on faith anyway. If one was scientifically proven, the other religions wouldn't be as popular.

Religion cannot be scientifically proved. And there is no religion called "Christianity." Christianity involves all religions that have Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the Son of God who was crucified and died for our sins and who rose again on the third day of his own volition. There are many religions that believe that.

while science has not proven that any religion is the one true religion, it has found much of the biblical historical record to be fact. science however has also found much in the koran to also be fact. much of the bible prophecy has also been proven to be true, though some parts of it have yet to come to pass.

there is no physical evidence. Thats b/c if one religion had tons of evidence there would be no faith. Christianity is based on faith, you have to truly belive in your heart that there is a God, not just b/c there is a whole series of evidence. God wants us to worshipHIm b/c we want to and we love Him. There would be no meaning to Faith and Religion if it was scientificall proven

they are working on it but no success. So if it's not then the drinking question of "What are Atheists doing here in R&S"? Looks like Christians will do anything now a days to prove their god is real.

There isn't a true religion - they are all cults. Created for the people by the people.
