I am getting married in the beginning of Spring on March 30, 2008. My colors are hot pink and orange. I am a little confused about what color my bridesmaids should where. I also might want to add that the ceremony and reception is in the early afternoon. I'm not sure about the table decor for the reception either, if any one can help let me know.
Thanks

I would say hot pink. Orange is a pretty hard color for most woman to wear and you want your bridesmaids to look beautiful. I think orange would be a better accent color!

I think hot pink with an orange sash would work, but I also like the idea of a neutral color like black, cream, or tan with the bridesmaids having one color sash like hot pink and the maid of honor with the orange.

My favorite choice would be black with the right colored sash!

Good luck!

Its hard to imagine, but hot pink/fuscia is very flattering on every skin tone. We wore it for my sisters wedding and each of us were differnt weights, hair colors, skin tones etc, we all looked awesome in the color. And the dresses looked doubly awesome against the black tuxes. To this day its my all time favorite bridesmaid dress I ever wore.

Orange on the other hand can be difficult to wear, I wouldnt look good in it at all because I am very pale and have naturally light blonde hair, its just not a good color on me. (When I was looking for a dress to show you, I went through the orange dresses, go on and see for yourself, none of those girls looks good in the color)

I would suggest taking the girls all together and seeing how each look in the shades you want.

As for styles, I would choose a tea length style, its a versatile length that is flattering on everyone

I would think pink is more likely to compliment everyone's skin tones more so than orange. Or half of them could do pink, half orange, and do, say, ivory table linens with hot pink and orange accents-placemats, napkins, centerpiece. You have plenty of time. Start looking at pictures, toying around with color combinations, and see what you like best together.

black with a hot pink or orange sash -- the flowers and colors will really pop against that (as long as they're not really long, formal dresses)

Dresses... I would go like a black dress with either a orange sash or pink one.. you could flipflop them.. or like an orange dress with pink sash..

I would do black. Your bridesmaids will be more likely to wear them again and you can always put colorful flowers in their hair or fun neclaces or rings.
