Get back to the friends stage again, and then ask him about dating. You have nothing to lose and it might be what he wants but can't say. You two were apart a long time, He may just be hesitating because he doesn't want to ask about dating you and get shot down. You may have to break the ice for him.

This is a really cute story...If you both have feelings for each other there shouldn't be a problem. Be honest. Sometimes guys take a whiile to get into the relationship, keep him close and just keep doing what your doing. You will be Fine

i'd say tell him how you feel.. and after-words make sure you tell him you just wanted to get it out into the open and he doesn't have to say anything back, you just felt that you should tell him.. who knows maybe he feels the same way.. dont rush things and make sure you two are always open and honest with each other, we all know the truth hurts, but a lie can kill.. i wish you both nothing but the best.. good luck sweetie!

Ask him out. What do you have to lose? Its better than waiting on either of you to say something. You both are procrastinating. So, just step out and ask. I mean, do you want to spend tomorrow still wondering or do you want to be on that special date with him? So, go for it already!! Good luck.

What are you waiting for !....Ask him out to something casual but just the two of you, somewhere like ice-cream, coffee, movies, a walk in the park, etc......and ask him if he want to date.....its ok for a girl to make the 1st move!

He's just nervous because it has been awhile since you have seen him but show him you are interested. And if all else fails take the initiative and ask him out! im sure he would enjoy that. go for it

if he keeps changing the subject you have to assure him that you like him because then he probably wont ask, but yea keep flirting with him and if things work out it should naturally come out
