i have decided that i am no longer going to dye my hair, i have a lot of grey and have about 2 inches of growth coming through, my hair is straight and just below my shoulders, my fringe is almost all grey and the sides at the front are almost all grey, i dont want to go too short, so can someone advise me on how to wear or style it while waiting for rest of grey to grow.

if you do a zig zag pating with lots of volume at the roots, this should disguise a few inches of roots. also having curly hair or putting a wash in wash out colour may help

why don't you just go grey/silver all over so that as the roots are growing out there will be no noticeable difference? me personally- i can't stand the sight of someone with roots, it gives off the impression that they are not bothered with their appearance. be distinguished and happy :-)

I think silver/ grey hair is so hot it looks great in dark hair (black) wear it how you want to!

I'm getting high lights to let my natural color grow back without it looking too odd.

wavey hair always makes the nastiest transitions look fantastic.

i know.. i have waves, sometimes i enhance them with a bit of hair spray... really looks nice when you have that "two tone" look happening.
