its called a platonic relationship and they are really good to have. That way u can talk to someone of the opposite gender and ask them questions about relationships or w.e really and get answers. My best guy friend (my platonic best friend) and i are really close and help each other out a lot, i even had a crush on him for a really long time a couple years ago but everything is all good...
