I (the bride) will be walking to the Here comes the bride march...But I need a good song for the maid of honor, best man, bridesmaid and flowergirl and ring bearers to walk down the aisle to. Any ideas?

My entire bridal party, flower girls and ring bearers walked down to "Going to the Chapel". It was a surprise, even to most of our family and everyone loved it. We received so many compliments on it because a lot of our family is older so they grew up with that song and other oldies we played at the reception. It's different and doesn't always have to be a "church wedding song" if you don't want it to be.

Handel's Air series (Or Water series) was a really good idea. We played Bach's Air on a G string.

Dubussy's "Claire de Lune" is another good choice.

Bach's Brandenberg Concerto.

Really anything classical would be appropriate. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Handel.

Or there are a lot of romantic movie soundtracks as well. Phantom of the Opera, Sleepless in Seattle, or another song that is popular is When I Fall In Love. Personally I think Canon in D is too overused, same with Jesu of Man's Desiring. But listen to all of them and decide which one you like best.

Mine walked down to a song called "And I love you so" It is an awesome song and it sounds great with or without the vocals. It is originaly by Perry Como, but I had an album called Acapella wedding and it was really neat.
I hope this helps you out. Congrats!

You are going kind of traditional with the march... so a more traditional song would be Pachelbel's Canon in D. But when I was in my friends wedding, we walked to "You and I" sung by Michael Buble.

I like classic pan flute music. A musical version of Bette Midlers "the Rose" is always nice

This is the most commonly played song for weddings.

If you go to the bottom of the link you can download and listen too.
I used it in my wedding and I beleive every wedding I have been to has used it. But if you are looking for something different, go to the local CD store and check out any CD's they have on wedding songs.

I couldn't decide for the longest time what to play for a processional either. I ended up playing the accoustic version of one of my favorite songs. It was special to me, but no one got distracted by lyrics.

Jesu' Joy of Man's Desire...my own wedding.
anything melodic and flowey, really.
Cannon in D, obviously, although me personally, I'm frickin' sick of that song.
something classical that you like....the theme from "Anne Of Green Gables" (piano) is really beautiful.....
"Think Of Me" from POTO (instrumental...or any song, almost from "Phantom" really)
