Go Air Force, but the Israel pilots are pretty damn good. Also, there isn't much air to air combat anymore. Planes are too fast for the aerial combat we know of from WW2 and Korea. Most air combat is now mostly ground attacks. Plus, it is also hard to have air to air combat when your enemy left all their aircraft buried in sand on in Iraq.
If you want to see some excellent aerial combat action watch the History Channel series on the subject. Faaantastic show.

Between our AF Pilots and Navy pilots, we have the best trained and best equipped pilots in the world. The Israelie pilots are good...real good. But experience? Most if not all of the most expereinced air to air pilots they have are all retired. The last air to air Israel did was a long time ago, and that was against the Egyptians (chuckle chuckle) and the Syrians (snicker snicker). It was more of a shooting gallery than a dog fight.

Israel has a GREAT little Air Force. But the "caveat"- is on "little", as compared to the MUCH larger U.S. force. So you can't really "compare" the two... It'd be like comparing an Orange- with a Watermellon... -They're BOTH good "fruit", but the size difference is obvious.

Considering Israel gets most of their warplanes from the US, and that they're probably watered down planes in some instances, I'm pretty sure we're better. We have the F-22, which is actually protected by law from being sold to other countries.

America is the birthplace of the airplane. We have been at it longer, we have far more good pilots, far more planes, and far more flying experience than any other country.
Even the best of Israeli flyers would say they are not in the same league as the American flyers.

depends. Israel has more experience, but USA pilots train others. so it comes down to what do you think is better?
10 vets with unimaginable experience or 100 pilots with decent experience and training from those expert pilots.

US. We've trained the Israeli's, and made their jets. They are certainly second best though.
