I have grown several batches of sprouts and all had mold. I used a method were I put seeds on a wet paper towel and I put another wet paper towel on top. I heard exposure to sun could make seeds loose nutritional value so I put the sprouts in a dark area. What attracts mold and is there a way to prevent it?

I dont usually grow sprouts in my garden, but damp and dark is what causes mold. Instead of putting the sprouts in a dark place, try putting them in a shady area instead.
