Good tattoo artist in Georgia?

Question

Hey. I'm going down to Georgia and was wondering if anybody knows of any good tattoo artist there. I am looking to get my first tattoo. If so then (1) who are they (2) why do you think they are so good (3) do they have a web-site where I could see their books?

there are some great tattoo artists in georgia. for your first tattoo i'm not really sure what you're looking for and what i'm going to suggest is probably not a shop you'll end up going to because they do larger detailed pieces and are by no means cheap but my goal is to make a trip to this shop and get tattooed.

brandon bond is the "famous" one from the shop but all of the artists there are AMAZING. i hope you enjoy what you see.

Probably not. No good artist is going to take this risk. You probably could find some unlicensed idiot to do it but you might end up with a bad tattoo, an infected tattoo or some blood borne disease. You can also end up growing and this can stretch and distort a tattoo. If you have respect for the art of tattooing maybe you should just wait until you are 18. Even if this tattoo is 'meaningful' or whatever it will still mean the same thing when you are an adult. What is the rush?

If I were still residing in Georgia, I would suggest myself, but there are several kick *** artists in the state, depending on where you are going (likely Atlanta) Keep your eyes peeled for a shop called Psycho Tattoo; it should be in the Atlanta yellow pages since it is not right in the city. I believe the artists name is Deano Cook, and I only suggest going to see him due to some awe-inspiring portrait/black&gray work. Not sure what you are looking for, but the shops in and around Atlanta would likely be your best bet. Good luck.
