I just had a 2nd interview for a position I am interested in. Although, it really wasnt an interview at all since it was over lunch. It was myself, and another candidate, along with 3 HR managers. I wanted to send them a thank you note. Basically, I want to thank them for lunch, reiterate my interest in the position. Can someone help with samples??

Believe me, it was an interview. If you were there with another candidate, they were probably comparing you. Some companies use this as a way to size up your people skills etc. They may want to see how you handle yourself socially, esp. if you will be in a position where you will be meeting the public. They watch to see if you eat with your mouth full, spill your soup, and are polite to others. # HR managers don't waste lunch on just anybody.

Yes, send them a note, but keep it short. "Thank you so much for the lovely lunch. at (name of restaurant). I enjoyed the opportunity to meet with you again. " Then try to mention something about the company that you learned during the lunch. And then you can say something like "This second meeting has strengthened my interest in your company and in the position."
