to answer the title question: you cannot gain weight and weigh the same...
to supplement: the way your body feels depends less on how much it weighs and more on the percentage of fat...since fat weighs less than muscle...you may have lost muscle and gained fat making you weigh the same although having becoming and feeling more unhealthy and needing more effort to exercise because you have less muscle...the gained fat has greater volume than the lost muscle and thusly makes you bigger without having a higher weight

It's impossible to gain weight and weigh the same.
However, I feel the same way too. Some days I feel heavier and then think I must look bigger. So I'd say it's POSSIBLE to feel that way and stay the same weight, but it's not possible to gain weight and stay the same weight.

You may have exchanged muscle for fat. You can weigh the same but be bigger b/c of the increased fat percentage.
Weight is the measure of the pull of earth's gravity on an object. So your mass is exactly the same if your weight is the same.

Since muscle weighs more than body fat it is possible to gain
weight but look much better than you did when you weighed less.
In your particular case I suggest you compare your weight
and height on a BMI chart. Please keep in mind that a BMI
chart shows desired weight compared to height but to look
real good you would want to have a BMI that is a point or
two or three below the desired BMI.
Thank you.

If you are exercising to lose weight, you may be in the period of burning fat while building muscle. Generally, this is a good thing, but if you don't want to build as much as to lose, try doing more aerobisize and less weight lifting , or more reps with less weights.
Good luck!

Well, the possible reason you could look or feel heavier is water retention...caused by too much salt in your diet.

You simply can't gain weight and weigh the same.
However, you can look different, if you retain fluid and redistribute your body components.
Eat less salt; less alcohol. These can cause fluid retention.

If you are dieting and exercising, yes. You are losing fat and gaining muscle, which weighs eight times as much as fat.
