I am going to be starting up in a Quinceneara, a Show Choir, and Cross country season is coming up. This all equals a lot of dance, and even more running.
I weigh about 145, 5'6''. I have a blackhawk water bottle wihich holds 32oz, I plan to drink 3 a day. Is this enough?

64 oz of water per day is the minimum amount usually advised. However, with all that activity you would most likely need more. The 96 oz you plan to drink per day I am sure is plenty.

Good luck!

8-12 8 oz glasses a day. So three a day is fine. If you feel you need more than drink more and if you live in an area with low humidity you will need more than if you live in an area with high humidity.

BTW, if you drink a gallon and 1/2 a day you could reduce your electrolytes concentration, which can actually lead to death if they get low enough.. If you need that much fluid, make sure 1/2 of it is a sport drink like Gatorade.

In general, they say 8-10 cups plus 1 cup for every 30 min of exercise you do. However, the best way to know how much water to have is to go by the colour of your pee. If it's yellow, you need more. If it's transparent, you are doing good.

A good guide is to look at the colour of your urine.
You need to drink enough to ensure that it is a light colour. If it is a darker colour you need to drink more fluids.

The general recommendation is 64oz a day. However, you want to drink enough so that you don't feel thirsty. (By the time you feel thirsty, you're already starting to get dehydrated.)

During excercise you should be drinking 8oz every fifteen minutes. Is you drink that on top of your recomended 64oz a day, you should be fine.

For your weight, you should ideally drink about a gallon and a half of water a day. One gallon for every 100 lbs.
