Does anybody have a total gym? If so what model and how do you like it? Is it as smooth as they show on tv.

my family has an older version thats not sold anymore. we dont really use it that often. its an ok workout but its a big hassle setting it up and breaking it down. also you can only use your own weight against you so you have no idea what weight youre doing. some of the workouts are really fun though. as for smooth? the pad's nice and comfy and glides great. im sure they all do

I bet the people with a total gym are probably all rich...if you want to get a total gym in your home you should devote a room (such as a guest room) in your house to it or else it will be very cumbersome to work out in...when you're choosing the model you should probably look at the website at this address (http://www.totalgymdirect.com/index.php) for information regarding specific models. And most things that are advertised on tv and backed by a random celebrity (theirs is chuck norris) are never as good once you buy them

I had one once...a 1500. It is pretty smooth. I loved it for every excercise I did.
