I have really bad breath and I don't know how to get rid of it. I've tried gargling salt water, a tongue scrubber, mouthwash, mint gum, mint sprays, but it's still there.

If it bad teeth or a gum problem you might need a dentist.

If it is a stomach problem then chlorophyll might help.

Chlorophyll is an internal deodorant that deodorises your interior and reduces the odour of everything that comes out so if it reduces stomach odours then your breath should improve.

Oh I know this! I swear by this stuff. It's Therabreath- you'll need the toothpaste and mouth rinse. It's a little pricey- check around- it's about 10 at CVS and walgreens. But at Publix, I can find it for 7 and it's 8 at Target. Plus, there's a dollar off coupon in every package. I had a problem because the area in the back of my throat on both side had pits. I even went through laser surgery and that was only a temporary fix. Mouthwashes, gum, mints just mask the problem - that’s it. Therabreath gets RID of it- something about the oxygen- I just know it works. Now, you can do all the steps from the package/back of bottle- but I found that to be a little extreme and using too much product- (like dipping your floss in the rinse etc). What I do is simple and it works- floss with waxed floss, use a regular tongue scraper, squeeze a bit of toothpaste on my fingertip and apply to entire surface of tongue. Let that sit there while brushing. Do not wet toothbrush first- use regular amount of toothpaste and brush. (I use Sonicare and love it). Spit. Then use tongue scraper again and get all the toothpaste off. Then use rinse- I do the rinse two times. Done and breath is fresh the entire day! Never, ever a problem. I do all that again at bedtime. Try it- it works for me and I’ve been using it for about 4 years now. Can’t say enough good things about it.

Try some of these:

-Brush your teeth at least two times a day and don't forget to floss to get all that food that's stuck in between your teeth that your toothbrush misses! If you don't floss, the stuck food wil start rotting and start stinking up your breath.

-Drink a TON of water! It'll clean out your system.

-Avoid mints/mint gums with sugar in them. The sugar can sometimes make the breath smell worse later.

Believe it or not, if your bad breath still doesn't go away, you should really go see your doctor. It might be more than just bad breath, and the odor might be coming from something deep inside of you.

Perhaps it's something else that's causing your bad breath. Try asking your dentist about it, bad breath may also be a symptom of health problems. The only way to be sure is to ask your dentist about your problem. Good luck to you!
