I don't believe I have an answer but rather questions myself:
Is Purgatory where your spirit is "stuck in between" heaven & Earth...?
Are what mankind has come to know as "ghosts" actually spirits in Pugatory...?
Is it merely a time based sentance for sins before getting to Heaven or is it possible to bargain or win your way out with spititual good deeds, etc...?
Can Purgatory be reincarnation to a tougher life than a previous one to give a soul a new perspective and a chance for redemption through living a less sinful life then the previous one...?
Whew, my head is spinning from this question...! Time to sign off for the day...

There is no such place. The Bible says that when we die we either go to heaven or hell. There is no in between.
