Evidence is uncertain and based on conflicting, controlled human research on these statements - enhances immunity, improves cardiovascular function, anticancer, teats lupus.
Plus the risks of taking it - self supplementing is not advised, may increase the risk of breast, endometrial or prostate cancer, may promote masculine characteristics, may increase HDL cholesterol level

If you are 35 or over, than yes. At 35 your body begins to stop producting DHEA. If you are younger and think you need it, you should have a test to check your DHEA levels. DHEA helps muscles grow, hair grow, and help with cell renewal.
