As people have said before not only are round boxes difficult to make..

The other valid reason is Pizza slices are also difficult to remove in round boxes Than in square boxes..

The boxes are Square so that the left over pizza in the box can fit on the square shelf in your fridge

squares are easier to make, and the pizza is easier to get out and put in, ive seen round pizza boxes though. Square pizza boxes fold, circles dont!

Its cause of shipping reasons. When a pizza place orders boxes they come flat in a stack so they have to be folded into the box to fit the pizza. A round box couldnt be folded and therefore would take up way too much room to store or ship fully assembled boxes.

Square boxes can be stacked easier, alot cheaper putting together circular one woult take up alot of time, and pizzas fit fine in square boxes anywyas
