so far I haven't got an answer to the question.
The nearest is someone setting up a straw man precis, to easily knock down.
I wasn't asking whether it was true, or not, just for a demonstration of a grasp of what it actually is, not a dictionary definition.

The theory of evolution, in a nutshell, is the modification of DNA when the external environment is extreme.

There are a few problems with this:
1. People living in extremely cold environments haven't grown fur, they still have to wear animal furs;
2. the number of chromosomes never change, thus while an animal may adapt to a harsh living condition, it remains the same animal;
3. every change we see as a result of changed DNA has been for the worse, never for the better.
4. DNA can not be the result of an accident. Even very intelligent scientists working in a laboratory have not been able to design a new DNA strand from scratch! They can modify already existing DNA, but with all their intelligence, they can not actually build, much less design a viable DNA strand. If it can't be done by these so-called intelligent atheistic scientists, what makes them think that this can occur by shere accident? (That is why I say "so-called intelligent", because they can't see through their own folly!)

Well, obviously, some Christians have more faith in the Bible than in G-d. Evolution is truth, so if there's a G-d, G-d would be right and the Bible would be wrong, tainted by man's stupidity.

A "theory"? Someone doesn't understand the technical definition of the word theory -- gravity is also, technically, a "theory". That doesn't mean it's somebody's guess.

God created the Earth in 6 days. He created us in His image and with a destiny. We are all here for a reason, and are not here out of some co-incidence. Also we dont believe in evloution cause there is no proof. EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE TEXTBOOKS that say that there is. You can write a book on all the facts that the Tooth Fairy exists, doesnt mean that it really exists.

Evolution is unproven,and there is not a single person walking this earth that can prove it.Not,biologically,geologically,or chemically.Evolution is a religious worldview masquerading as science.It's a lie,and no one can prove otherwise.

A theory, nothing more. It's certainly not a law as many would have one believe.
