Gnostic- it's he must have peanut butter, right? That's how we roll in my house....
If all else fails they can burn the bible for kindling to cook their own food... How long has it been since I've made your daughter cry? Or does she not read your posts anymore?

This sounds completely twisted. You cannot live on a "soul level" when material and emotional needs are not met.
Spirituality is NOT religion - it is the SOURCE at all religions, without power trips, rules, and ideosynchracies.
Being in touch with your spirituality, I would think to consider the importance of sustaining the vessel housing the spirit much ahead of wanting to impress belief, or a written word to convey an idea, or system.
These charities you refer to that help hungry children are combating not only health issues, but illteracy on a wide scale, as well. I can understand your feelings with regard to this question but believe you are not considering the entire picture in a realistic manner.

It is hard to feed ones soul when ones belly is EMPTY. That is what I adore of YOU Christians, you always put the cart ahead of the horse. Feed the body the soul will see the love and come around, if GOD is real! Just show the love, first!

Why don't you stop eating and spend the money you save to send bibles to some hungry kids. I mean, since it's not impotant that they eat, you could set an example for the rest of us. I think you should start today, please. It will be such a benefit to mankind.

Sometimes you can find a local business that has them for free. Look around. If you need a lot they may give them to you. Or tell you where you can buy them for just a few dollars each. If that dose not work look for this info at a church(s) to see if you can get what ever you need to help others.

If they starve to death they can't read the bible, I think it is more important that they eat. If you are hungry you can't learn, if you are dead you can't learn, so feed their body first, then worry about their soul. If they die before you "save" them, you can't save them.

Take them yourself. "Go ye into all the world." But I think that they would much rather enjoy food. A bible doesn't determine their relationship w/ God. (It's benificial, yes!) But, how about...You learn the Bible, Take them food, and teach them the Word of God... Thats a better plan.
