In my opinion...The fact that you asked this question tells me 2 things.. 1) you're a good person that want to be pleasing to God 2) you already know the answer to your question.

Well. Yeah it kind of is because bootleg stuff is, like, illegal stuff. I'm kind of a new christian too. I've only been a christian for about 5-6 years. But that's what I believe.

Perhaps you should just drop the "as a Christian" and really think about the merits of those actions themselves.
List of rules created by old superstitious people from 2000 years ago really won't help you much. Your own brain will. You are the ultimate decider about how you want to fit into society. Don't be lazy and drop that thinking on other people. You have your own character, and it is yours alone. This is how other people will see you and judge you, so be careful how you develop it.

If bootleg means in violation of copyright, that is wrong; it is stealing from the copyright owner. But riding in bootleg cabs is stealing from no one.

Well in a sense if your buying bootleg movies and such you are depriving the people who actually made those things available the money they are entitled to... so I'd say in my opinion it is wrong...

Those are violation of man's laws... those of The True Christian Faith are instructed to abide by man's laws so long as they do not conflict with God's Word and Will... yes... those acts would be wrong

becasue you are questioning it, you already know the answer. If it is wrong it is wrong. Really, it has nothing to do with you being a Christian, everyone knows right from wrong, or should anyway.

Let me preface this by saying I DO BELIEVE IN GOD, AND MORALITY!!!! that said... i am no christian, but do you think the almighty is paying attention to minute things like bargain shopping? if you set fire to the bootlegger's home to obtain them...then yes-god is going to be upset...
