Masculine - B.A. in French - and my Larousse encyclopedia says so!

Le cédrat: masculine

I am French and a Lecturer in Linguistics, but on Yahoo Answers qualifications or nationality are not a guarantee of accuracy or truth. There often are people who claim to have a certain nationality or a certain qualification, but if you check the rest of their answers, their claims are false. A few months back there was a girl (clearly a teenager) who claimed to be a Doctor (medical) and could not even spell . She gave dangerous and inaccurate answers and some innocent people actually believed the nonsense that she wrote.
Il ne faut pas croire tout le monde, Lakshmi. Bonne chance!

Masculine.
Lucky enough to be bilingual. French mother, who only spoke in French, and an English father, who only spoke in English. But they managed very well, and my brother and I were educated in London and Paris.
