I've used the Pet Scentsations before & it works well. None of my pigs have ever had any adverse reaction to it.

If you want to get really fancy, you can order shampoos specifically designed for guinea pigs from http://shop.store2go.net/gorgeousguineas/ I have personally never used them, but I've heard from many people they are terrific.

Remember two things when bathing your piggie.
1) Never get his head, face or ears wet. Only wash from the neck down.
2) Be sure your piggie is thoroughly dry before putting him back in the cage. They can easily get sick from being left wet, especially if you have the a/c running or the cage is in a drafty area. If you use a hair dryer, use EXTREME caution that you don't accidentally burn his skin. The hot air can burn their sensitive skin very quickly, so never leave it running in one spot for more than a second. Keep that dryer moving constantly over the body area from a distance of about 12 inches. Use the "low" setting if your dryer has one.

Good luck!

Personally I use the Four Paws Bunny Bath. I've had two of my four guinea pigs for not quite two years, and this is what I have always used. I only wash them when they get really REALLY stinky, and even then I only wash their rumps. Washing them too frequently can dry out their sensitive skin.

You'll want to be sure your pig is fully dry before you put him back in his cage. I'd try a hairdryer on the lowest setting (one of my pigs HATES the hairdryer and refuses to be anywhere near it when it's on so he's strictly towel dried). You can also use baby shampoos or gentle dishwashing liquids like Palmolive.

I would get four paws bunny bath. It is a reccommended shampoo on Guinea Lynx:

Remember, only wash your guinea pig if it is absolutley necessary. Avoid the ears and the eyes at all costs.

Good Luck!!

The first one would be best if you want to bathe him. The wipes are only good for spot cleaning and the dry bath doesn't work as well as shampoos.

I'd go with he bunny 1..

Well actually, I'd say not bath the poor little guy at all. He won't need it.. guinea-pigs can clean themselves. But if you must, the wet bunny one.

puppy or kitten shampoo - it's more gentle on their fur and skin than plain shampoo.

if you can't find that, i've also heard of people using baby shampoo (preferably the no tears kind or sensitive skin)

Guinea pigs don't need to be bathed. They clean themselves.
