Atheists would still make fun of pagans, but like you said, they wouldn't be calling you "evil" or claiming that you're going to hell. They'd just be like... "oh, you cast magic? cast me a spell! oh... you can't but you still believe you can... ok, have fun with that buddy!"
It would be a bittersweet relationship, kind of like two people who enjoy 80s rock, but one likes The Cult and the other likes Styxx. Ideally though, both would thrive in a world bereft of christnazis.
It's not specifically Christians who are the problem, but Abrahamic Monotheists who believe that if everybody they see doesn't submit to their god willingly, that they should beat it into them. Believers of gods other than theirs' are "evil" and "demonic" so they don't bother worrying about the moral implications of murdering them. Atheist non-believers are part of some secular communist conspiracy that must be obliterated, etc. At the source of all religious intolerance, there is monotheism.
Even if all the pagans and atheists were obliterated, Monotheists would then begin warring with themselves over the righteousness of their own compartmentalized denomenations. Just look at Sunnis vs Shiites, Catholics vs Protestants, Jews vs. Muslims vs. Christians etc. All of these Abrahamic religions believe in the SAME DAMN GOD but bicker with eachother over the semantics of their practices as passed down from priest to priest. Every time a King Henry, Muhammed or a Martin Luther comes along, the message of the sect changes ever so slightly. These minor changes however, create differences, and differences are what intolerance and prejudice is all about.
For any monotheist to claim truth, he must silence all opposition to his creed. He must identify anybody who thinks differently about the moral implication of buttons, divorce, red meat fridays, etc as something evil because its different. For monothestic truth to be maintained, all cpntradictory monotheistic "lies" must be warred upon.
The endgame of monotheism is one man clutching his own personal bible atop a wasteland of corpses where all opposing faiths have been murdered. Should this man ever develop a crisis of faith, change of mind or multiple personality disorder, he would then likely kill himself.
The bible predicts the apocalypse because by definition, all monotheists seek to murder the world. They can't change all of the people's minds all of the time... so the next best thing is to just murder them all and lord over the corpses.

Hisorically the pagans did get along toKings would have advisers from both religions. And the change from pagan to christian,in many ways has been a slow one. With a mixing of beliefs and traditions occurring. The major problems occuring during the Roman empire when pagans were burning and killing Christians and the inquisition when the Catholic church tortured anyone who disagreed with them.(This included other Christians. But most of this was politics not religion.) The Atheist could slowly move into post modern thinking or nietzche philosophy and do as he will as neither depends on ultimate values.

As a whole... I would much rather live together with atheists. I believe I would learn a lot more from an atheist than I would a Christian, especially in the different fields of Science. But thinking about this, it would depend on the atheist (as well as the Christian)... If I could pick the Christians I would have to live with, then I'd be alright... cause I know my best friend and my mother would not treat me that way, as they are among the few Christians I have ever known to not believe that people go to hell.

I do get along with Christians, I was raised in a Christian family and some of my friends are Christians. Simply debating doesn't mean people are not getting along. Debating is a good thing to help see each others perspective and maybe even start to agree on something.

Paganism and atheism get along fine, as long a they both agree to disagree. No prostelytizing, no preahing.
Paganism and Christianity are incompatible because Christianity is an exclusionary religion, which is prone to intolerance and bigotry.

Don't worry about being wrong, just ask for the right answer for you.
Don't worry about hell, just ask for spiritual joy.
Christan's were very nasty to Pagans, still are, seems to be
an underlying need to be nasty, don't know why.
Don't hold your breath for any-one to like you because you have chosen your own way, (as it threatens the sense of sameness), which is needed to create your own path.
I can't use my time right now to try to figure out who could live together with whom. Somebody is always going to have a problem with somebody else, its a part of the human condition. Blessings

I (an atheist) get a long much better with Pagans than I do with Christians. Pagans don't have that hypocritical nature and don't try to force their ideas on me.

It just depends on how determined the Christian or atheist in question wants to stuff their beliefs down people's throats. I generally get along with most people, regardless of religion. Suprisingly enough, people in general are not quite as stubborn in real life as the people on R&S.

We atheists usually get along great with pagans. Hell, I'll dance around a fire naked with some pagans, that would be fun. And I know you guys won't force me to listen to any preaching, or litter my yard with pamphlets. Xians are usually more scared of you guys than us, they just hate us.

an atheist wouldn't bother a pagan unless a pagan bothered them (which they wouldn't). A christian would set out to convert a pagan, so my answer to your initial question is no.
