How can you help me to find a diagram or picture of this item, fitting under the steering wheel with a coiled wire that wraps around the steering wheel shaft? It is Ford part number 14A664, and they call it a "horn contact".

if it has and air bag its a clock spring and you can not mess with the wiring or your airbag will do one funny thing........GO OFF

go to the parts store and have them pull the part off there shelf and take a look at it

If it doesnt have an airbag everything is completely different

'92 shouldn't have a clockspring or airbag. That wasn't till '94.
You should have what's called a sliding contact. It has three prongs that mount to the steering column, that contact three rings on the back of the steering wheel.
