i'm not fat or have weight problems. sometimes i think i'm chubby though and i don't want to starve. i want to lose about 10 lbs. i am taking all natural green tea pills. should i try eating more salad, protein bars, water, lowfat yogurt. and some lean protein. what do you think? any tips? thanks

Try going to your local natural foods store (i.e. Whole Foods, Wild Oats) or co-op. They usually have many healthy alternatives. Eating healthy means having a balanced diet not only eating salad and protein bars. Watch out some green tea pills can be hazardous depending on the dosage.

The key to losing weight is a combination of both diet and exercise. Since you made no mention of exercise, i assume you are not exercising. You should eat a well balanced diet containing a variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and high quality protein. Try to limit your fats to no more than 20% of your daily food intake. You should also perform cardio 5-6 days a week for 30-60 minutes. You will lose weight even faster if you also do a strength training routine 2-3 days per week with a day of rest in between sessions. Finally, drink lots of water and get enough sleep.

Sounds like you've got the right idea. Be careful with the protein bars, a lot of them are "meal replacements" and have too many calories to be eaten as a snack. Try to eat your carbs early in the day, say before 2pm. One thing that you did not mention is water. You should increase your water intake, especially before meals. It will help you feel full faster.

eat alot of fiber rich foods------flaxmeal is one of the best----do not use pills of any kind as natural products are always best----have a protein shake every day with flaxmeal, fruit, yogurt, and optional, one half teaspoon of molasses(optional) pasta with a healthy sauce (no cream, or cheese) on it---eat as many fresh fruits/vegetables raw as often as you want a snack---no sweets, no fast foods, no pop...you will feel good, have more vitality, and be healthier, have a scale handy after about 3 weeks check your weight---BUT ALWAYS DRINK ALOT OF WATER-----EVERY DAY-------be patient it will take awhile for your body to realize that you do mean business bfore you see your weight dropping---you can lose fat without it ever showing on scale..REMEMBER ALOT OF WATER---AS WELL AS YOUR PROTEIN DRINK EVERY DAY...BUY FRUIT PRTEIN POWDER
