No laws are OK to break. That is just a lame effort to justify the actions of the illegals.

OK... we have the side that believes we should just allow all the illegals here to stay. Those groups are the ones that say immigration laws are not important. The people (like myself) that believe we should shoot them back to mexico with a catapult believe the laws need to be enforced and stricter even. Pick a side I guess :) Both groups actually make very strong arguments. I will admit the people that believe the illegals should have rights here make a good case in many ways, but the fact is it is a drain on our already stretched economy. Our taxes cover them for welfare, wic, rental assistance, and foodstamps, AND medicaid. The pro-amnesty (sp) ignore this issue and never really address it. That is the issue that made up my mind though. Make your own decision, but make it an educated one :) I say that to everyone. Don't be wishy-washy and try to ride the fence. There was a fence but the dang people keep hopping over it :)
All laws should be enforced equally without prejudice! I think that is written somewhere even :)

It's just like speeding, almost every one does it, but once you are caught you have to pay the price, and if you do it time and time again you will lose your license. so when the illegals say that sneaking into the country is a law like speeding, yes and like speeding you also need to pay the price, and that's deportation. Just because we have people speeding that doesn't mean that we are going to take the law off the books. Sneaking into the country is only the first step of breaking of our laws. Using false and stolen documents carries the penalties of fines and jail time if we do it, are the illegals saying that when they do it it's okay because they are just doing it to feed their family. Most people that break the laws on the level of documents fraud, are just like the illigals they just want to provide for their families, but that excuse would not fly in a court of law

Breaking laws for the "rush" is not a good reason, it's actually pretty selfish, immature and dishonest. All throughout history laws have been broken. An example of a just crime? The Underground Railroad. An example of an unjust crime? Drunk driving, theft, etc.

Obey the law! If you don't like a law, work to fix it.
Illegal aliens are criminals for breaking the law! It is not a victimless crime because everyone gets hurt in some way.

Illegals also use fake documents to work. That is also illegal! It seems that if an American breaks the law, he/she will get in trouble but if an illegal breaks the law, he/she is rewarded.

The only people saying the border law is un-important are either:
1) Those who plan on breaking it themselves.
2) Those who have already broken it, and don't want to be called on it.
3) Those who have family members who have yet to break it - they don't want their uncles and cousins impeded by the law.
In short, it's like Death Row inmates complaining about the Death Penalty - a little bias, perhaps?

Well...there's the jaywalking thing...and of course the "it's ok to commit double murder in the state of California" clause....you can also get away with possession of marijuana if you have even a reasonable facsimile of a note saying you have glaucoma.....ehhh....just pick a law and break it. What the hell does it matter

American citizens would be in jail for breaking any laws - the invaders get a free pass on most of them.
