Actually is a generator already, If you turn the shaft of the "motor" with your fingers you can measure a voltage at the terminals of the "motor". Also you can connect a 1.5 volts lamp or a LED and see how it lights. Good luck

Probably, but it depends, if it is a DC motor with a commutator then yes. If it is brushless and has active switching components then no.
Put the wires in your mouth and spin the motor. You should be able to taste a faint voltage. Also an LED may light if you spin the motor. Spin it in both directions because the motor may produce DC voltage and the LED lights in one direction.

Yes, but they make a poor generator. You will find that it will 'fly apart' after a while. That is because it is not designed for the stresses that a typical generator experiences. If you are just using it for a hobby, then it should work fine.

should work as a generator, however it is still a motor, so you should use a blocking diode if it charges a battery otherwise it will turn on its own.

A 1.5v dc motor should generate a small AC current when rotated. You may be able to get an LED faintly lightup but the reverse voltage on the -tve portion of the cycle may kill it. Check with a meter set on AC and see what you get.
