It is perfectly fine to be a virgin at 19. I am one. Most people think it is strange because sex is such a passe thing now, but I always felt that when it felt right I would have sex with someone I loved. So far I've dated a jackass, and someone that just didn't click with me, but now I am dating a really sweet guy. I'm getting to know him more and more.
I think when the time is right for each person they know it. There is nothing wrong with staying a virgin if it doesn't feel right. Some people actually don't have sex until they get married.

Define normal! It is not common, but it is definitely a good thing. I was a virgin at 19, however, I lost my virginity at 19.

These days it is unusual. If you are a virgin still, hats off to you. Keep it that way until you meet the right partner. There is no need to throw away your virginity just becoz you are 19! The romance is greater when you have patience and the partner is right for you. Mark my words.

Normal depends on your viewpoint. I can say it's comendable. I feel that kids today are experimenting way too early. At 19, you have to ask yourself why are you still a virgin? Is it because lack of opportunity or strong will. If it's the latter, then hold on to it and give it to your wife. If you don't plan to marry, then give it to a woman that you care about and who cares about you.

yeah some people just arent ready for sex until their older, some are. it may be a little weird to be a virgin at 40, but being a virgin at 19 isnt abnormal

yeah I'm a virgin at 19, but I feel 20 already because I turn 20 next year in January, I've never even had a girlfriend either, I've just kissed, like tongue to tongue, but that was through playing truth or dare.

Yes. You should be proud of the fact that you have kept yourself pure. It is a sad commentary on our society that someone has to ask if it is normal to be a virgin at so young an age. I wish more young people had your sense of self value.

i'm 23, i'm a virgin. i'm also an ex-model (which makes it even weirder).
but, just because a girl's attractive or 'mature enough', it doesn't mean she needs to let herself be ridden around by just any guy.
i've been pressured lotsa times by 2 of exes, that's why they ARE my exes. i'm still not ready. i believe that true love waits.
so, no, maybe it's not normal, but that makes u that much more special :) and trust me, when the guys find out u're one of the only virgins left standing, they'll be crawling around u like bugs in the heat...lol....
edit:: btw i've been dating this guy for a few months now...he's just the best i've ever been wirth...and he's a virgin too!!...we share the same principles and we've been getting along great...i totally dig him and respect for that!

Being a virgin is not a normal or unnormal thing,it's a choice that you make whether people say don't do it or do it.It's a very hard decision but whatever you chose will have a big changed on your life.
