Yes, money is useful. But, its not everything, Love is what makes you want to get married. Money is just paper, that you trade for something you really want, that's all money is, is green paper, with the faces of presidents. Yes, money is resourceful, but you shouldn't get married if its really just for money.
Let me ask you something.
Do you love your spouse?
Its good to have money, but marriage is for love, not material possessions. Money doesn't buy happiness or love.

Well money is the #1 cause for divorce so everyone should take money into consideration.
Be the question "how important is money to you" or "how much debt are you bringing to the marriage"--money should definitely be a topic of conversation.
But while love is great, you can't survive on love alone and love isn't enough to make a marriage. So, yes I would marry for money. As long as both parties knew about it and there wasn't a great compromise--like he was rich but he beats me, humiliates me, etc. If we both had some respect for each other--why not? I'm sure it would be a fine marriage--much better than passionate love marriages that fight all the time about money.

No, I prefer the great love that I have. We can find ways to make more money, but there's only one of him in the world.

Ideally, it would be nice, but things and money don't buy happiness. I'm perfectly happy with my average (money wise) boyfriend!

The question is not who would marry for money it is who wouldnt marry for money because i would, i would even pretend to be be gay and marry a gay guy for money then divorse him and ill have money!!!
