I can't really tell you why, just that you're not alone. My cat gets on the back of the couch and chews everyone's hair...even company. I usually just tell him NO...DOWN! This usually works, but occasionally he's stubborn and I have to lock him in another room for a little while.

He just loves you and chews on your hair to show affection. cats do that sometimes.

She's defleaing you! this is her way of returning the want, and additionally a manner of being the alpha cat. The dominant cat grooms the others. She might see you as an equivalent (or subordinate!).

Kitty loves you and is treating you to grooming. Or your hair smells terrific, is bouncy and shiny. All compliments. If it gets annoying get him/her a feather on a stick toy for quality play time.
