I'm in the same boat. I love fast food, but I'm not over weight. I've cut way down becasue of college though. Having food readily available helps a lot. Also I got a summer job at McDonalds and lets just say I dont really feel like eating it quite as much anymore. It's hard to stop eating it, but just try to keep healthy food youlike stocked in your house, and stuff that is quick and easy to prepare.

Just set a number of times you're allowed to visit a fast food restaurant per week and stick with it. Bring a snack or meal along with you from now on to resist the urge for fast food. Personally, I'm trying to limit my fast food intake to once a week because I am TOTALLY addicted to it. I just make sure I don't get caught in a situation where I'm starving and have no other option besides fast food. If that happens, I've educated myself on the healthy choices at all the major chains I visit along with the number of calories for each item. I know what I can get for 300 calories or below at every chain. LOL!

I wouldn't say I have an addiction to fast food, but a few years back, I would grab something to eat when I got out of school and on my way to work. Now I eat fast food (subway sandwhiches) about once every month or sometimes even none, I pack and make my own meals, and buy lots of fruits and vegetables for when ever I am craving a crunch, and at the moment I haven't ate a fast food for about three months now, and I feel fantastic with all this extra enegry.

Its a mental thing if you think about, I just said to myself I should stop eating out less, then I do it. When friends and I are going out, and we about to go to a fast food joint I just think to myself how long can I keep going without breaking? Like a little game for myself

I work in a fast food restaurant, and I am tempted also. You should not eat out more than once or twice a week. When I go on break I always order food from the restaurant. However I try to eat healthy getting a salad or a chicken sandwich instead of a Big Mac! If you eat out get the healthier food!

You can stop eating fast food by using your WILL POWER & INNER STRENGTH. No matter what age & weight you are right now, eating Fast food everyday is very unhealthy for your body, consider the amount of fat grams, calories, cholesterol, carbs, saturated fats, trans fat & everything else in these foods you eat. It messes up your blood & sugar levels, your cholesterol levels will eventually suffer in time. Try watching SUPER SIZE ME and you will understand. At 29 years old, you should watch what your eating, exercising, eating more fruits & vegetables b/c they have all the vitamins & minerals your body needs. You can eat fast food, just NOT EVERY DAY. You should limit yourself to this treat at least once every 6 months or better to steer clear from fast food. Try cooking your own meals at home, staying away from fast food will not only make you healthier but will also save you money.

Just start eating other things when youre hungry. Stock up on food at home (healthy food that is) so when you feel like you want something to eat you've got food right there. You will notice you will begin to save a lot of money (on the food and gas) and you will feel better. Have a fruit bowl sitting in your living room so if you get the munchies while youre watching tv you can just reach over and grab something. Have meals premade in your fridge or freezer so you can just stick them in the microwave or oven.

the best advice i could give you is, since there are fast food places on every corner, only go there when you reward yourself for doing something good in your life.or if you have a favorite place to eat at on your way home find a different route home. also think of all the money you could really be saving by going to the grocery store and buying a weeks worth of food verses spending $10 a day of fast food.

You don't have to be overweight for the fast food to make your cholesterol high!!! My Son is in the same situation!! Keep telling yourself that the fast food is going to kill you, maybe that will help you stay away. After I quit eating it for a month or so, I didn't want it anymore. You couldn't pay me to eat there now!!

You'll have to use good ole will power here. Once you start eating healthy foods, you'll get over the fast food craving in about two weeks. Just make sure you're getting enough good carbs and protein, or that greasy burger will start haunting you again!

two words: will power. time to own up and get some self control. if it's really that tempting, do all you can to stay away from it. drive another route. if people are eating it near by, go away or spray an air freshener. learn to make healthy alternatives to what you love. most people addicted to fast food are really addicted to convinience. if you make fast food inconvinient, you're less likely to have it.
