I'm getting married in may. I am using clover green dresses from david's bridal, and the groomsmens vests will also be this color. What flowers will look good with clover green? I like calla lilies but I'm not sure

Calla lilies would be perfect because they are so pretty and the creamy-white color will accent the clover dresses nicely.

If you want more than one type of flower, try adding other white flowers (orchids and roses would be pretty).

If you are also wearing a white dress, all those white flowers need to pop, so I would also add some greenery. Ivy is beautiful and represents everlasting love.

I'm putting ivy in my bouquet and my florist says that I can plant the ivy afterwards so that I will always have a living piece of my bouquet!

Calla lilies are BEAUTIFUL and VERY elegent, especially at weddings.

I got married in April of 2007 and I carried a bouquet of 12 large calla lilies. My Maid of honor carried 6 calla's. My junior bridesmaids carried 3 calla's each, and the flower girl carried 1 calla lily. Each one was wrapped with an off-white satin around the bottom and they turned out beautiful! Everyone complimented me on how simple yet elegent they were!

Calla's can be a little on the expensive side - but calling around for better prices helps a lot! The first place I went to wanted to charge me $20 PER calla lily! My bouquet would have cost $240. Instead - I found a place who charged me $10 per flower. MUCH better.

Good luck with your wedding!

I love that color. I'd go with an offwhite. I love calla lilies or just a couple ivory roses. The other color that comes to mind is a pale blush/pale pink rose. That would be very pretty as well.

If its the tea length gown, go for simple. Perhaps have them just carry 1 or 2 flowers.

What are your wedding colors though? B/c if you are planning on carrying a bright bouquet with pink roses or blue flowers--you might want to have the bridesmaids have a bit of that color in the bouquet as well.

You won't want to over-use green, that's for sure. Try to think of what color combinations you would like first. Green and white? Green and pink? Green and blue? Whatever you'd like! Then, find a florist you can trust, and let them do their job. When a good florist knows your vision, they can let their expertise take over, and you'll probably be happier with what they will chose.
