Yes, my Religion teaches to remain a virgin until marriage. And yes, I intend to remain a virgin until marriage. Our bodies are the "Temple of the Holy Spirit and we should not defile our bodies" 1Corinthians 3:16
God designed sexual intimacy between couples inside marriage. But Satan's purpose is to pervert everything good and pure that God made.Matthew 5:26 says that we must be pure of heart and mind, but our society is obsessed with sex. TV, Movies, Books, Radio, everywhere we go, we see shame and depravity in our society. The constant pursuit of sensual pleasure and lust is slowly destroying our society, our bodies, our souls. But Christ came to destroy the work of the devil and re-establish the right relationship between humans

Yes, my religion does teach you to remain virgin until after marriage. This is for good reason as we now know of the STDs spreading around. Yes I do follow this teaching. I will remain a virgin until I get married if God willing.

Yes it does. I am a convert though and no not a virgin when I got married (don't tell my parents though, they don't know it, lol). I felt it was important to remain a virgin, then I got engaged to a man and thought we were going to get married and of course it didn't work out. Then I figured that I already lost my virginity I may as well go ahead and have sex. Looking back it may not have been the best decision, but we all make mistakes.

God teaches us to remain a virgin until after marriage. I did not. I did not accept Jesus as my savior until a couple of years before I was married. I asked Him to forgive me of that sin.
I've done some pretty horrible things in my life, so now I teach my kids to not do them, not to be hypocritical, but I now know what the consequences bring.

As far as I am aware my religion says nothing about remaining a virgin or otherwise. Nor does it touch on 'sin' although it does revere compassion, moderation, and humility (or compassion, love and kindness, depending on translation).
It recognises that, as there is light and dark, there is male and female. And what one could ask, is the point of male and female, if not for sex?
So while my religion (Taoism) has a healthy scepticism about all social institutions, marriage included, it regards the taking of a partner and having children as two of the natural and happy events of life.
But as for 'waiting'? That's up to you.

I believe in God, not in a religion. My faith does teach sex only within the confines of marriage. As a single woman, I am still a virgin and intend to be until (if) I am married.

Yes my religion teaches so, but No I havent waited. I consider myself more spiritual than anyhting else...yes I believe (and want to) in God in some bigger and better Spirti up above who did create everything and still looks after us --but the religion itself has so many contradictions, doubts, and also things i dont agree with. I dont want to say i am the most religious girl in the world casue that would be a lie but i can tell i am a good heart person and i do everything with love caring about myself and the others. My sexual life is strictly related to my Love life and thats it!!!!theres not sex w/out love to me!
So for this reason I dont think God would look at me different than another just because I had sex before marriage (i am 28 who knows if and when this will even happen)....sex is more intimate, private and personal. Our body, our needs, are too difficult to understand and deal with just a tot.number of "rules" and ......who better than God knows thist?
my suggestion LOVE, never do somthing wrong or not moral in your life...behave hte best you can and Good life!
at least this is only my humble opinion:)

I am christian and yeah it teaches to remain a virgin until married. I was not a christian when I lost my virginity. When I became a christian I chose to not have sex until I got married. Which was when I was about 17 when I became a christian and I was 21 when I got married.
