They are two completely different career paths. Criminal Justice is limited to careers that fall under law enforcement. With a business degree the sky is the limit. Business teaches a diverse skill set which can be used in almost any field.
It also depends on what your strenghts are. A business degree typically requires a lot of math classes. I have a degree in Finance and besides for my Finance classes anyone in the business program had to take Calculus one and two, Statistics and Quantitaive Methods. In Criminal Justice you will take courses in Sociology and other courses about the public and behavior.
So its not a matter of which is better, no one is going to think you are smart or dumb for having a degree in either. Both are respectable career paths and it all depends on your interests.

You don't need a Criminal Justice degree to be a cop, unless you're considering the FBI or CIA. Even then, experience will get you there. Business degrees are a dime a dozen as someone said, but so are employers that hire them. What do you want to do with your life?

Listen hard. Figure out what you want to do and get a degree in that career. Don't let anyone talk you into deciding later.
I have an AS, a BA in business management, and an MBA. They are good for nothing unless I want to work in the corporate world. And even then, I have no experience so I can't get hired. I'm 32 and have never been offered a job that would require any degree. I have no experience. You learn nothing about a particular "job" only about general information you could learn anywhere. It's a major waste of money and time. Of all things we can return, I wish I could return my diploma's....they do nothing aside from take up space in my file drawer.

Criminal Justice. The reason is, Business Management, they come "a dime a dozen".
The market is flooded with people earning a Business Management Degree.
The strategy is to go for an area that there is a shortage of people in, then you will be more in demand.
