Whast colour is your poop...serious question!
If your poop is light coloured then you need to see a doctor as you have liver or gall bladder problems.
As others have said certain medications can cause dark urine.

Part of the responsibility of a pet owner, is to be able to take their dog to the vet. A lot of vets take payments. Your dog does sound really sick and like he needs a vet really fast. Blood in the Urine is a Big Red Flag. If he's skin and bones, I'm sure it's been longer than 2 days for him to get that skinny. If he's not active, not eating and can barely walk, those are very obvious signs, that something serious is going on and if you don't find the money to get him to a vet fast, you may lose him, depending on what he has. If you still will not get your dog vet care, then at least surrender the poor thing to the vet, so hopefully they can treat him and find him another home, who will be able to afford a vet. It is Against The Law and considered Animal Neglect (Abuse), not to get a sick or injured dog immediate veterinary care. If someone else see's that your dog is sick and you have not taken him to the vet, they can Report you, you can get your dog taken away from you, you can get fined, and you can get put in jail. If you really love your dog, then you will find some way to pay for a vet visit! He's counting on you to help him. Please don't let him down!

You could have a bladder infection, kidney infection, or UTI. Drink lots of cranberry juice or water as hot as you can stand it to flush out your kidneys. Make an appointment with your doctor for a urine test and some antibiotics.
Other than that it could be certain red foods, wines, or vitamins.
Hope this helps. :-)

You could have blood in your urine. If its near that time of the month, it could be just getting ready. But if not you can have some serious things going on inside. You need to see a doctor and do a urine test.

No dog turns to skin and bones after being sick for only 2 days - so this is something that has been going on for a while, even if the most noticable symptoms are just presenting now. So, what sort of great advice are you expecting to get here? cause he's in bad shape, definately suffering, and likely to die soon if he doesn't get diagnosed and treated by a Vet.

If you drink a lot of coffee or coke...
When I drink a lot of mountain dew, my urine is green like the soda.
Other than that, you should get this checked out at your doctor.

Is it reddish dark? Maybe you have traces of blood...
if you really drink a lot of water (8 full glasses a day?) it shouldn't be that dark...
do you take a lot of vitamins?
if it has been dark for awhile, make a dr's appt...
