I SO AGREE WITH YOU THAT I THINK IT IS WRONG FOR YOUR UNCLE NOT TO TAKE IN HIS KIDS, INSTEAD LETTING SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. (OUT OF STATE), HOWEVER, IT JUST WORKS FOR SOME PEOPLE TO GIVE UP THE RESPONSIBILITY OF HAVING TO TAKE CARE OF SOMEONE. NOT SAYING THIS WAS OR IS THE RIGHT DECISION. I'M SURE YOUR MOTHER IS GOING TO TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF YOUR COUSIN. I CAN UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATIONS WITH THE WHOLE SITUATION. YOU FEEL THAT IT IS WRONG FOR HIM TO CHOOSE THIS 20 YEAR OLD WOMEN OVER HIS KIDS. MAYBE HE FEELS RIGHT NOW, IT IS BETTER FOR SOMEONE WHO IS RESPONSIBLE AND CAN TAKE CARE OF YOUR COUSIN IS THE BEST CHOICE. ALSO, YOUR MOTHER CAN PROBABLY GIVE THEM MORE LOVE AND ATTENTION THAN HE CAN RIGHT NOW FROM HIM. WITH THE WHOLE DATING SOMEONE HALF YOU AGE, I AM 20 AND I CAN NOT PICTURE DATING A 39 YEAR OLD MAN. I CAN'T SEE WHAT WE WOULD HAVE IN COMMON. I PERSONALLY WOULD FEEL LIKE HE HAS ALREADY LIVED THE BETTER PART OF HIS LIFE, AND I STILL HAD SO MUCH TO GO THROUGH AND EXPERIENCE. PLUS, ITS A LITTLE WEIRD TO ME! BUT PEOPLE FALL IN AND OUT OF LOVE EVERYDAY. OR LUST FOR THAT MATTER. NOBODY CAN JUSTIFY WHY HE IS DOING WHAT HE IS DOING. YOU CAN ONLY LOOK AT THE SITUATION AND LEARN FROM IT. LET THIS MAKE YOU A BETTER MAN AND A BETTER FATHER. (WHEN THE TIME COMES) JUST TRY TO BE THERE FOR YOUR COUSIN THE BEST WAY YOU CAN.

First, as far as the 20 year old girlfriend goes, no, to me he is doing no wrong in dating her. Age is just a number.
Second, with the kids, I can't really understand why he would not want his children with him, but at the same time, make sure you know ALL of the facts as to why he doesn't have them right now, before you judge his actions.
I would talk to your mom about what your feeling about your uncle, and ask her to be completely straight with you. Let her know it bothers you. She may give you the answers your looking for.

I'm not going to pass judgement on your uncle's dating choices - it is obvious he is with her for one reason - and there are just some adults who, after divorce, tend to make unwise choices - which most people call "rebounding".
When it comes to the children, no, it isn't wrong for him to agree to let your mom care for the kids....if he isn't interested in being a father right now, they are better off being with someone who actually wants them around.
I feel bad for the kids though, I hope your mom gets them into counseling while they are with you.

my marriage broke up because my 42 year old ex was having an affair with a 21 year old. It's still going on after a year and her parents won't speak to her. So what does that tell you???

You probably should stay out of your uncle's business. But to be honest, I don't think it's really wrong. If she wants him, it's perfectly fine. And with the children thing, obviously he must have not meant to have them. So he really doesn't care.

Well I hate to say this about your uncle but he is a very selfish person. He cares more about himself then what is best for anyone else (including his kids).

No, my sister is 22 and her boyfriend is 40. Age is just a number. And as for the kids, I have no clue. Maybe he just needs some time apart.

there are a number of closeted gay Christian singers accessible. you won't have the capacity to probably shop all people completely faraway from gay human beings. probability is he's heard Elton John sing. Elton is in each single place and except you isolate somebody in a locked cellular they are going to take heed to a gay individual sing. could you keep your uncle from going to a broadway musical? could you keep him faraway from television all mutually?

Yeah, I think that's reprehensible. Selfish, and kind of sick. Wonder what the girl sees in him?
Yeah, it's his business, but it also affect those you care about. It's really sh*tty. You will find that people do all kinds of things for all kinds of reasons and if you don't agree with them, they will not want to hear it.
