My puppy is a coppernose beagle puppy. I've looked on the computer trying to find any sites about them but the computer is making it look as if they don't exist. Has anyone heard of these dogs before and does anyone know where I can read about them or find a site about them?

They are actually called an - "Olde English Pocket Beagle"
There are no Pocket Beagles left in England, Ireland or Scotland. At this time, less than fifty adults of the original type Pocket Beagles have been located in the US. Containing all the charms of it’s larger cousins, the Pocket Beagle is as sturdy as it is cute. You will seldom hear a bark from them. Good bone structure is essential with this small breed, and the quality of breed we have is top notch. They were named so because hunters needed a Beagle small enough to go where the larger ones couldn’t. Shorter legs meant that it couldn’t keep up with them, so they carried them in open saddlebags on the horses. We are very concerned with reestablishing this rare breed. Most people don’t realize how few genuine Pocket Beagles are in the United States. The Pocket Beagle is a very old breed - dating back to the 1800’s in Great Britain. The Olde English Pocket Beagle is essentially a miniature Beagle. The rarest color is “Coppernose” which is what you were referring to!

It's like saying a black lab is a different breed from a chocolate lab. They aren't; they're both Labrador Retrievers, and you've got a Beagle, as others have said. There should be plenty of beagle websites out there for you.

A doggy mill is rarely a competent thought!! To be called a doggy mill ability that the canines ARE undesirable, the residing quarters ARE grimy and hazardous, the owner IS disreputable and grasping, and the canine would be ill!!! No doggy can legally be separated from the dam earlier 8 weeks of age, and the LATER you %. up the doggy from a competent breeder, the fit and happier it will be. never purchase a doggy you pays for online- good breeders call for a face-to-face interview basically before purchase. an excellent breeder would have AKC papers for you, invite you over to fulfill one or the two dad and mom and the finished muddle of doggies, interview you to ascertain you and the doggy would be a competent adventure for one extra, provide you all of the doggy's historic previous and well-being information, stick to up on the doggy, and provide to take the doggy back at any time in case you are able to not keep it.

The breed of your dog is beagle. What is the registered color of this pup? Some livers have a lighter nose.

After looking up information on the internet, all I could find on "coppernosed" beagles was that it meant the color of their nose, meaning that their nose is not black, but it is a copper/tan color.

The AKC Beagle standard says nothing about what color the nose should be, so I am guessing black/copper (or liver) colored would be accepted.

I think that it is probably a "fancy" name that the breeder told you.

That's because there IS no such breed. It's a beagle with a red nose. Period. No different from any other beagle.

I hope you didn't pay extra for this "coppernose" 'cause if you did you got scammed.
