It's been 48 hours but they are still sore...should i wait longer or is it ok to workout them out again?

It's okay to work out again, just do less weight than you would normally do. This might even help to relieve the pain from last session.

I myself would not wait. I find that working out with sore muscles actually seems to help them feel less stiff and sore. If my legs are sore after a heavy workout, I walk -- works wonders.

I like your question though and am curious to see others' answers.

If they're still sore, you need to wait longer. Your muscles need time to recover. If you work them out now you'll only end up even more sore and with a possible muscle strain injury.

48hrs is enough time between workouts. If your arms are not too sore- then go ahead and work out- but to a lesser degree- shorter reps, less resistance etc. Stop if you have to.

Could be a throat infection Maybe tonsillitis (that how you spell it) Get a swab test done by the doc

do some stretching, but nothing too exerting. you probably overdid it the last time. pain is your body's way of saying you did something wrong. make sure you warm up and stretch before you exercise.
