I am trying to find out what the best lcd tv is in the 19-23 inch range. I have been told that the samsung LN-T1953H is the best. By looking at it next to an lg 20LS7D, the lg has a better picture, but everyone keeps telling me that it is just the connection to the samsung. Does anyone have a consumer reports account that i can use to look up what the best tv is, or can look up for me to see which is better..??

any one of these tvs should be a great pick personally i like the sharp but the samsung is aslo a great tv and may give you better contrast ratio. the lg is last. but i have a subscription to consumer reports and they dont test tvs that small. at leat they dont put them in their magazines. the smalles they test is 26". . but id pick the samsung or sharp whitch ever has the better picture (both connected to the same souce that is) or the best conection options. does one have a pc conection and one doesnt, or hdmi? what resolutions or available are they all 720p . that is what you should get in that size nothing less.

Samsungs are pretty bad, might have a good picture, most dont last 2 years.

I would get a Toshiba LCD or a Sony.

Consumer reports dont tell you how long they last, most are judged hot off the press.

The library should have a copy of consumer reports that you can read for FREE.
