It is a gross generalisation, but I tend to see American Christians as being rather right wing and reactionary, while, European Christians (or Europeans in general) are more left leaning.
Perhaps all the silly futile wars that Europeans have slaughtered each other in over the past few hundred years has taken the edge off our idealism and made us a bit more pragmatic.

Hello,
All is ok and they have a lot of other interests and vices to enjoy and are overall more liberal generally speaking. The only times they get more religious and fill churches are in situations like the occupations of World War II. Right now only about 5 -20% go to church there depending on the country.
I might add though that the mosques over there are 100% full.
Cheers,
Michael

Because American Christians are 55% Evangelical Protestant. Outside the United States, Evangelicals make up less than 1% of the Christian population.

European Christians are a small lot compared to American Christians. Percentages are quite low actually.

American christians get stimulated by TV preachers. Its a fad in America. Mega churches, TV preachers, its all well packaged and presented and the suckers line up to throw their money at the crooked preachers. And the crooked preachers get our tax money now, even though the Constitution says quite clearly that they can't, Bush has opened up our treasury and given these crooked preachers our tax money in order to buy their loyalty and of course because the preachers have NO morality or dedication to God, they are totally bought, much more loyal to Bush than they ever were to Christ/God/The Holy Spirit.

In Europe they survived the religious wars and religion lost. The American Christians were shielded from that and are still fighting the battles of the 16th century.

Maybe because Europeans aren't as "offensive" as Americans?
P.S. I'm an American.

Because they respect other people and do not try to push their religion on others.
I just think that European culture is much more relaxed in general and they are not under constant threat of hell from their pastors or think the terrorists are gonna kill them.
Even though Europe has more terrorist attacks a year.

Unlike the x-tains in Europe, American x-tians hate freedom and they hate America. They want America to be an x-tian police state.

We have a very different culture, didn't "the Pilgrims" all go to the U.S anyway?
I'll explain more later when I finish work if I am not suspended by then.
Peace out.
