Just FYI, you probably mean "American Christians..."
Like, not "Vote [Irish] Republican [Army]."

I listen to Christian radio all the time. Never once have I heard them say that. Are you sure your friend heard those exact words or is she reading between the lines?
I used to vote republican because normally the republican candidate was pro life, and I am pro life. However, that is no longer the case. I don't think any of the top runners on either side are pro life. I currently am voting Republican because I feel that the Democrats are not interested in our national security at all. They want to give rights to the terrorists and take rights away from us. I feel safer from terrorists with a Republican in office. So, that has nothing to do with religion.

I vote republican, because I don't believe mothers should abort their babies. And I don't believe adulteries/fornications should get special government benefits. And I am against gay & lesbian marriages or adopting children.
And if a Democrate recognizes the rights of the unborn (The littlest 'who' is a 'who' too). And the dad is a 'who' also. So? Is this the right of the mom only, when this baby is part of many other peoples life. Shouldn't the baby have the right to choose to survive the womb?
It is prophecied that the next president is going to be Christian. The Lord said that this wouln't be whether one is Democrat or Rebublican. So? There are Christian Republicans & Christian Democrats. When a Christian gets into office, Jesus guides this President the Right Way for our Country, no matter if Republican or Democrat.
If the leading Republican wasn't Christian and the leading Democrat was, then I would vote as the Lord directs me & I would probably vote for the Democrat.

I don't vote republican. I'm not happy with the party right now, nor do I believe they are following God in any capacity. The democrats aren't perfect by a long shot, but I think they are doing a much better job.

I remember when it was just the opposite. And in some areas on the local level it still is. In my area I always split my votes and vote for the one with that shares my values. It is getting harder to vote on the national level. I have not really seen any Presidential candidate step forward yet. It could be media coverage though.
Yours in Christ,

They're all just politicians. I vote on issues, not clubs. I'm not happy with Bush because he's encouraging Israel to give up land. I'm faced with the dillema: vote for bad, worse or trainwreck. I want John McCain to win because he's the only one who has integrity and the least like a lying politician. He's straightforward, probably why he's having so much trouble raising campaign money.

First of all, I don't believe you had a friend who heard that. I'll support any candidate who best represents my views. None of them totally agree with me. Such is life. Right now Dems are further away from my moral beliefs than Reps. so you can see who I'd support. Doesn't mean I always agree with them. If I can't see a difference between the two parties then I probably won't vote unless their issues are of concern to me.

I think most "religious" people vote how ever they vote, for "religious" reasons. I am an American and I vote because of "American" reasons. It is who I am.

2. Others cells have PROVEN the process can be done without stem-cells.
3. Excuse me, while I run the restroom to wipe my eyes!

No. Why would I do that? The Republican party is consistently anti-Christian and anti-Conservative.
