I want to get my parents initials on my arms...1.triceps or inner arm? 2. Is an old school swallow girly to anybody?

I'd suggest inner arm. You don't want to put something important where you can't see it.If those are your only two options, go with inner arm. As far as an old school swallow, if it has special meaning to you (which all tattoos should, imo) then how it looks to the public doesn't matter ; ]. Good luck and don't flinch, lol.

The old school swallow lost it's popularity for men, and is still used quite often by women. Placement of your parents initials is a choice you need to make. My advice is not on the upper inner arm. Better on shoulder area or even back.

inner arm- closer to your heart...
the swallow- pretty old school thing with lots of meaning- look into that before getting it done....

i suggest looking up the meaning of the swallow because odds are you don't qualify for permanently tattooing this on your body and once you know what it REALLY means you may not want it any more.
i would go inner arm.
