My passport number. That way if I'm ever found dead in a ditch with no ID they'll be able to figure out who I am.

It depends on who the artist is.
If it is someone just starting out looking for canvasses to display thier work on I would go for something simple, small tribal or shaded black work , minimal color.. basically a "pick'n'stick".
If I got offered a free tattoo by a reputable artist I would get a larger, more detailled tattoo
. What my tattoo is depends on the artist as well...everyone has a favorite style they are good at.
I wouldnt go so far as to ask for sleeves or a back peice... That would be asking too much for free. Pieces like that tend to take days and weeks more so than hours.
A free tattoo would be one sitting. So anywhere from 1-4 hours.

I'm part Maori ,and I've been offered to have have my tribal (family) one put on me and that's from the whole left arm over both shoulder blades around my chest and them start at my knees all the way up to my waist line, likely they don't do them the old way with the chisel and them stuff it with animal fat and charcoal!!!!

If it was offered to me by a professional, not just some guy with a tat gun, I would get my half-sleeve, since thats going to put me out a lot of money, I would kill to get it for free.
