No offense, I respect that not every1 is not forced to believe what I believe though I encourage them to accept Jesus into their life. But why do u atheists hang around this section like all the time? Do u just like to pester us christians? You keep complaining u don't want christians posting ?'s about Jesus and God but u post ?'s about atheism all the time and ur answers r really mean a lot of the time. Can't u get off for a while and let christians answer christian ?'s without those really rude answers from u guys in there. Give us a break! and really why r u always here?

I am a Christian just like you are, but I don't think that atheists are here just to bug Christians. Not everything is about us. Not everyone is out to get us. This is the religion section, and there are people here that have any opinion on religions. I really haven't seen alot of questions complaining about Christians asking about Jesus or God. I see people complaining about posting too many scriptures and nothing else. Again, this is for anyone who has an opinion about religion. Also, there is someone on here of every faith at every hour of the day. Someone is on here all the time. -- that includes Atheists AND Christians.

But there aren't any questions for pagans or Taoists in the Cats section!

I am a pagan and a Taoist and an atheist. Don't forget that spirituality does not equal religion. And not all spiritual philosophies involve a deity.

Aside from that, I actually am interested in the things Christians in particular say to try to convert people, because I have children and I fully expect Christian children to say these things to them when they find out my kids aren't Christian (it happened to me when I was younger, and oddly enough still happens).

So, I want to have thought about the Christian point of view and their arguments, so I can give a well-thought-out response to my children. I want to be able to clearly articulate what I think, because my ability to answer their questions may be important in my having credibility with my own children.

So I've been in forums like this for years now, and I'm really glad I did. Not only has it driven me further from Christianity than I ever thought I could be, but I think I can explain my views very well to my children, when they ask. I'm even keeping file of FAQ's.

This is an open, public discussion forum, not the Happy Christian Fun Club.

There has not been one single person saying they don't want Christians posting questions about Jesus and God. Seriously, is this spouting of falsehoods a tactic you've learned from your pastor? Try not stating blatant lies as fact and you might get somewhere in life.

And, FYI, this is not the Christian category - it is all of religion and spirituality, which does NOT = Christianity.

You think that discussion of religion is reserved for just Christians?

Maybe if you addressed your questions just to Christians you wouldn;t be bothered so much by people who do not follow your religion. And you can block any who go against yr rules. SO everyone's a winner.

I'm an agnostic and love talking about religion, I have to live among, and be affected, by millions of people who are religious, so I like to know where they are coming from, and test my own lack of faith....

I might even get converted, by a wise and loving religionist who reveals to me a deity that makes sense or is real.

Or a crazy religionist who rants and generalizes?

Anything could happen....

This is about religion. Atheists have every right to be here as they have an opinion to express. Right or wrong i welcome them. The only ones i don't like are the ones that make stupid statements to run Christians down but i have seen Christians do the same to them. Bring on intelligent debate.

I love how people say 'no offense' and feel like they can say anything they want. Atheists are trying to convert you. How do you think the indians felt when you forced them to believe in your god with threats of violence? How does it feel to be on the other side? Only difference here is no one is threatening you with violence to not believe in god, and you can choose not to read posts by atheists. So, you 'kinda' understand.

You could only be in posession of that information *if* you are here 24/7 yourself.

In which case; don't you have a job or a bed to go to?

The fact that I have a profound interest in religion and spirituality may have something to do with it. There is no law that states you have to be religious to come on here.
