Has the announced already been given in your Congregations?

I'm a bit surprised to discover that in some countries they know nothing about it. Do you think the change will start in some countries and then expand to other regions?

Less than half of those who attend the conventions and special events of Jehovah's Witnesses are actually active Witnesses themselves.

Since interested persons and families are encouraged to attend congregation meetings immediately, perhaps these new and inexperienced ones will most obviously benefit from a less lengthy bible discourse. The shorter format seems to make sense especially when the needs of families with small children are considered.

Beginning January 1, 2008, Jehovah's Witness public talks (such as are typically delivered at each Kingdom Hall on Sunday morning or afternoon) will be scheduled for 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes. The consideration of The Watchtower will continue to be 60 minutes, so the two combined meetings will now be an hour and forty-five minutes (including songs and prayers).

You guys have a lot of changes going on right now..Starting in Jan..there will be 2 WT ..one for the public and one only for the JW's to read..lots of buildings being sold too..and now if I understand right..you don't have to be one of the annointed to serve as one of their board members..or whatever they call it..I could be wrong on that one..but that is my understanding..What else has changed.?

Dammit! Yet another thing that has changed. Listening to the same drivel 3 days a week gets old. Now you guys just have to reduce all your brainwashing, indoctrination, sessions, err I mean meetings to 0 minutes a week, then there will be real progress.
