I am not stingy when it comes to stars, and discovered there is a 100 per day limit... has this happened to anyone else?

I use stars to indicate an interesting or funny question, to show support for the asker, or to draw attention to a really ironic question... I guess I don't see why I shouldn't be liberal with stars...

I don't think there is a limit on the stars you can recieve... I've seen people who ask for them get up to 150 one time...

I was not aware of that but it seems odd to me. Stars have no point value and essentially they just act as bookmarks. I will give you one though.

I think I've only given about 10 stars total. And I've been here for a month.
But I did know there was a 100-star limit.

I have been saving my stars up,so as to trade them in for valuable prizes on E-Bay. <------(Not true) I wasn't aware of a limit, but I do give stars, almost without exception, to any questioner that I choose to respond to for various reasons...1. a sign of respect to the questioner(Even if I oppose his/her views,or even am offended by them).2. so that my friends will be alerted to something that I found to be interesting(although,I am sure that many are not interested in some of the inquiries)3.If I find a question to be interesting enough to answer..then to me personally,it deserves a star....

I love being able to star interesting questions hoping it attracts other great thinkers to answer. yes a 100 stars a day makes you think about there you most want to give them.

I had no idea.
I guess I'm never here long enough to encounter 100 questions I think are worth giving stars to in a day.

yes. Is there a limit on how many stars you can get? I mean without soliciting for them like some people do.

I didn't know there was a limit.
Did you know you can un-star and starred question by clicking on the star again?
