First of all, Rich is a relative word. To one person $100 would make a person rich, while another would say that $1,000,000 makes a person rich, while still another might say that $1,000,000,000 makes a person rich.
Now, as far as Mustangs go, are you referring to the car or the horse? If your talking about a car, then if a person bought one new, when they were younger and kept it, they would have paid about $2,000 for it, back in the '60's. Today, they can fetch $30-40,000 for a new one. The old ones from the '60's are higher in some cases, while others can be had for a couple of thousand dollars.
If your talking about horses, you have the initial investment in the horse, then the daily upkeep, which just gets crapped away... :) so to speak as well as literally.
