All those people who answered above are ignorant. The question was, what's bad in Islam, not what are are some of the bad things that 'some' Muslims have done. Obviously, they cannot distinguish between religion and adherents of that religion. That's like saying that Catholic priests have molested thousands of boys, so Catholicism or Christianity is about pedophilia.

Most Muslims would argue that the Taliban were/are enforcing their tribal customs in the name of Islam and that al-Qaida is fighting to get US and British troops out of the Middle East rather than to establish some kind of Caliphate [OBL NEVER called for it!] But no matter how many times you try to educate them, they will keep making their ignorant, bigoted and nonsensical statements.

I do not like Islam's replacement theory:

when they say that the Torah and the Bible are actually the Qur'an, but the Jews and the Xtians corrupted it, and then proceed to believe that they have the only uncorrupted text in existence when it says in the Torah that nothing shall be changed, and the Qur'an changes things...this makes me uncomfortable because for hundreds of years Xtianity has been able to use a similar replacement theory to justify bloody gain...

Koran inspired Taleban islamist taking Korean missionaries hostages and executing them.

Okay, because of the poster below I shall clarify and expand on what I mean.

The bad thing in islam is that the Koran, the holy book of islam, inspired by Muhammad, the lone prophet of islam, contains teachings that considers people of other faiths, especially christians and jews to be infidels and if such people commit "mischief" in muslim lands, like proselytizing, then they ought to be killed. As such, these Koran believing Taleban islamist, inspired by their islamic teaching and belief, decides to take these Korean Christian missionaries hostages and find it rightful in the eyes of islam to execute them. That is what so bad about islam.

No Holy Spirit (Spirit of God), so no fruit of the Spirit, gifts of the Spirit, or wisdom from the Spirit. No atonement, so "forgiven" status of muslims questionable.

I do not believe that Qur'an was given by God of Abraham. That makes Muhammed a false prophet. I believe in free will though. I believe that Jesus is the way. : )
